I will lead and surround myself with other public servants who will use the original recipe.
- We must remain the greatest nation on the earth and protect the Constitution with the freedoms it allows.
- 9/11/2001 - We Will Never Forget.
- Guantanamo Bay stays open and its detainees will never touch U.S. soil.
- I will secure our borders and resolve our immigration crisis legally without amnesty.
- I will make our military more efficient, not down size it.
- I will improve and extend the benefits for anyone who serves in our military; past, present or future.
- I support the Uniform Code of Military Justice (don't ask, don't tell policy).
- I do not support unilateral discussions with terroristic regimes.
- I do support and acknowledge the importance of our friendship with Israel.
- I do not believe in the redistribution of wealth.
- I am pro capitalism based on a free market society that recognizes there will be both success and failure.
- Replace our current tax system with the Fair Tax.
- We must identify, reduce and structure our Federal debt for the long term.
- We must end the bailouts, remove their damaging controls and recover our money today.
- I will make the permanent cuts and sacrifices needed to avoid defaulting on our Federal loans.
- I support the private sector creating employment rather than the Federal government.
- Health care and Medicare reform has been resolved and I will support the Mayo Clinics proposals.
- I encourage and support individual States rights.
- Nuclear energy should provide America with a major percentage of our clean energy and create millions of private jobs today.
- Personal responsibility and accountability is not a role for the government, that duty lies with every individual citizen.
- While I understand the importance of embryonic stem cell research, I do believe there are alternatives.
- I will not sign any legislation into law that contains ear marks.
- Term limits.
- Marriage is the union of one man and one woman.
- Pro life.
- I will sacrifice the wants of today for the needs of tomorrow.
On June 29, 1956 President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed into law the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956. Public Law 84-627 created 41,000 miles of U.S. interstates and took 20 years to complete. The entire law is a 28 page document. This is proof that a U. S. President can lead our country with simplicity and common sense and the results that are possible. As President, I will have a copy of this law on our desk reminding everyone in Washington that the people are back in charge and that I will not be signing any unread legislation into law.
