" In God We Trust "

The United States of America is being destroyed from within by:

Career Politicians    Debt    Illegal Immigration    Political Correctness

Career Politicians: Our Federal government has seized control or ownership of 56% of the U.S. economy. In 2010, our government employs more people than all of the private sector combined, while creating a Federal pay scale that averages 80% higher than the private sector. The finance reform law of 2010 has now given career politicians the legal authority to seize any private company that they believe poses a threat to the financial security of our economy (without review). These actions are a direct interference in our free market economy and are in violation of the spirit of the Constitution of the United States of America. Career politicians are also demonizing the Judeo-Christian morals, values and foundation that America has been built upon to create a secular reliance upon the government and those in power, replacing personal responsibility and trust in our Creator.

The National Debt: Every American household now owes more than $600,000 in Federal debt. As a Nation, our debt has crossed the line of sustainability and will be impossible to pay off over the next 100 years based on our GDP. The maintenance costs alone to carry this debt will dramatically lower our standard of living, hinder economic growth and weaken our global status for generations to come because of high taxes, long term inflation and a reduced level of available government services. There is no value (present or future) for the burden that has been forced upon us and our children by this negligence and abuse of our money.

Illegal Immigration: This is a direct violation of Federal law. It is now costing American taxpayers more than $1 trillion dollars per year to provide entitlements, social and essential services, along with infastructure to these felons. Besides the physical and economic threat to our local communities, States and Nation by allowing more than 20 million unknown people to live among us, our open borders are welcoming drug lords and human traffickers to establish base camps on American soil.

Political Correctness: Political correctness has become more powerful than the laws that are supposed to protect us. The Fort Hood massacre was preventable, but the most basic of proven safety nets was removed by political correctness and 14 lives were lost. While Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan was on a government watch list, he allegedly expressed radical Islamist sympathies. Political correctness kept people from reporting his activities or filing criminal charges against him for fear of being labeled anti-Muslim. Secondly, within our military, political correctness has created a policy that requires all weapons to be secured in an armory, unless on a designated guard duty. If the active duty service members had been carrying their standard issued sidearms, this terrorist would have been killed before he had fired a second round, possibly before the first.

Our founding fathers must be turning over in their graves with what is happening to our Constitution and our country. We the people must stop the progressive movement of America adopting a more "European" style of government (socialism) or we will lose the greatest nation on earth and all of her blessings. It has taken over 234 years and over a million lives sacrificed to build the United States of America. The problems we are facing today cannot be resolved by President Obama, Mitt Romney or Sarah Palin because they are politicians, not public servants, and thus they base their decisions on self-preservation, personal ambition, party loyalty and compromised ideals.

As a public servant, not a politician, I hold myself to a higher obligation to my Country, my fellow citizens and my God to do what is right. I understand that there is a very vibrant American economy with millions of new private sector jobs laying dormant only because Federal regulations, taxation and politicians are in control today, rather than the people. Under my administration, I will dismantle the bureaucratic nanny state that they have created and restore personal accountability and responsibility. Our free market system must be allowed to be free again, where there is both success and failure, no matter how big or small. The Federal government's foremost purpose is to protect and promote the liberty of, not provide for, the people. I will reduce government to a level that will allow individuals and businesses the freedom to grow and prosper, while maintaining our status as the leaders of the free world.

The gulf oil spill is highlighting how our President only knows the United States from a classroom and a campaign tour. We are also living with the consequences of his unwillingness to relinquish governmental control and decision making to the people who have generational knowledge to resolve these unique problems. The local economies and jobs appear to be worth less than the power of politics and bureaucracy. It's time to elect a blue collar President who will trust and support the American people to solve many of our crisis' with timely, common sense and cost effective solutions. As our next President, I will give the United States back to the people.

It's Our Time!

  • On January 20, 2013, I will only have a swearing in ceremony and not a formal inauguration. The American taxpayer will not have to watch $200 million wasted on a week of pageantry and parades which can and should be spent in service rather than adulation.

  • I will authorize our intelligence agencies and our armed forces (when confronted) to use whatever resources that are needed to eliminate al-Qaeda and radical Islamic terrorists. There is no reasoning or negotiating with this kind of evil. If an enemy combatant is captured alive, they will be afforded the rights of the Geneva Convention, held at Guantanamo Bay prison and then tried in a military tribunal

  • I will close most of our non combat military bases in the developed countries that can be providing their own first line of defense (Japan, Korea, Germany). I will bring 250,000 U.S. service members home and assign them to actively defend our own borders. This will stop the flow of illegal aliens and a majority of the drugs that are currently entering and jeopardizing our security every day (see:Foreign Policy page).

  • Illegal immigration is physically threatening our National security and bankrupting many states. The great American tradition of immigrants assimilating and contributing to our melting pot has progressed into, not only a list of expectations, but demands upon arrival. This has divided and weakened our core strength of being "One Nation Under God".  The laws and procedures to resolve this crisis are available today, but our elected officials choose politics over enforcement. On day 1, I will give the directive to end this crisis by utilizing the laws that they chose to ignore. United we stand, divided we fall (see:Immigration page).

  • I will terminate the bailout and tarp programs, removing the government controls that have been forced upon private U.S. citizens and U.S. companies, while recovering our money. The United States economy is based upon capitalism where the consumer, the open market and the management of every business determines success or failure, not the Federal government. It is also in this light that we must remove a majority of the government subsidies that are falsely supporting many private sector entities.

  • President Ronald Reagan initiated a private sector audit of the Federal government, referred to as "The Grace Commission". The report was submitted to Congress in 1984 and its findings identified waste, inefficiencies and future multi trillion dollar deficits. The report also gave detailed resolutions to the problems they found. Congress ignored the report and its recommendations. I will order another private sector audit, such as this one. Congress will be held accountable to act upon the new audit by the people, while we will resolve a majority of the problems through the Executive branches power of regulatory and policy changes. As a Nation, we must follow the greatest generations example and sacrifice our wants of today for the needs of tomorrow. I will make the cuts that will be painful and politically unpopular, but vitally necessary to live within our means and secure Americas future (see:Monetary Policy page).

  • The manufacturing sector that built our country is gone and now our shrinking economy is based on information, assembly, service and government controlled employment. We cannot maintain the American way of life with an economy based on consumption, unrecoverable debt and speculative bubbles rather than sound economic values, tangible production and innovation. I will remove the government controls, regulations and taxes that have destroyed our manufacturing foundation and restore the private sectors freedoms that are needed to return the U.S. to being a disciplined, production based economy again.

  • I will sponsor and support the repeal of Public Law 96-88 (signed on 10/17/1979) that created the Department of Education. High school drop out rates have increased 40% since the government officially took over our education systems just 31 years ago. We need to have an established National standard of educational requirements, but allow individual States (under the 10th amendment) to manage and oversee public education. Our children deserve a better chance for a future than what is available today.

  • I will sponsor and support the repeal of the community redevelopment act. This is the primary cause of our foreclosure crisis. When borrowers are given a mortgage with less than 10% of their own money invested into a home and times turn tragic, the natural instinct of fight or flight is removed. People will simply walk away from their legal commitment without a major financial loss.

  • The U.S. economy and our Federal government spends (wastes) upwards of $500 billion dollars per year just to determine, define and comply with the current tax codes and I.R.S. regulations. I will sponsor and support the consumption based Fair Tax.  This fundamental change will save the American economy an estimated $400 billion dollars per year, free up millions of personal and business hours lost to the current systems complexities and put American businesses back into a globally competitive tax bracket again.

  • I will sponsor and support the repeal of the health care and education reconciliation act of 2010 (Pub. L. 111-152). In its place I will support the world renowned Mayo Clinics proposals to reform health care and Medicare. Their detailed proposals were submitted to Congress in May 2009 and were quickly removed from public viewing. I will sponsor, defend and support these reforms (see:Health Care page).

  • I will unleash the private sector to achieve American energy independence. The Federal government should not subsidize one dollar for energy. By allowing free market incentives to bring the best products to market whether that be natural gas, nuclear power or large scale trash incinerators to burn a majority of our garbage. This will create millions of jobs, clean up our land and water while generating clean, efficient energy. We are sending almost $1 trillion per year outside of our borders for energy. Not only should this be spent within our economy, but we can easily become an energy exporter (see:Energy Policy page).

  • Entitlement programs were created in the 1960's to provide a limited safety net for citizens who needed a helping hand. Over the last 50 years, these programs have progressed into a lifestyle for many Americans and a candy store for politicians to redistribute over $1 trillion dollars of our money every year. I will eliminate the unnecessary programs and scale back (to there intent) the ones that are truly necessary. While our government must protect and promote for the general welfare, there has to be a line drawn where the government stops protecting people from the consequences of their own actions or inactions.

  • I will turn the water supply back on for the San Joaquin Valley in California. This one action alone will instantly create at least 160,000 full time jobs, save thousands of family farms and generate billions of dollars of revenue for our economy. This will also increase U.S. fresh produce production by more than 30% instead of importing what can and should be grown in American soil.

  • The Office of the First Lady of the U. S. was legally created and allocated a budget on 11/2/1978. This Office was created to be the official hostess of the White House. Prior to 1978, all of the funding and services were carried out by volunteers and donations. Since then, it has progressed into a multi million dollar department with a staff of 20+ full time employees. I will reduce the staffing and budget levels, not only to save taxpayers money, but to create an opportunity for volunteers from the Make A Wish Foundation and similar organizations to become the regular co-hosts of the peoples White House.

  • The Constitution of the United States of America is the framework of our Nation and I will not let it be marginalized or infringed upon. I will lead our country once again with the morals, values and guiding principles that made "The American Pie" the envy of the free world for several generations (see:Faith page).

The American people should understand that 80% of what I am proposing can be done by one person, The President of the United States. Through the use of Executive Orders and Federal regulations, we can take back our country without involving Congress. The problems we have today are because of career politicians and their quest for power and control over our lives. The politicians from both parties have stopped listening to the people and are either unable or unwilling to make the choices needed to maintain the American way of life. I am one common citizen who is willing to make the tough decisions and sacrifices that are necessary to secure the future of our children and our country. I have the shoulders and the faith to stand up and save my home, do you?

I know that I will be labeled naïve, simple-minded, and old fashioned for taking plain and unelaborate stances on complex issues, but think about how complicated it was to build this country from nothing into the superpower it is today. A majority of our Presidents have been teachers, farmers and common citizens. These average citizens honored and respected this basic formula for almost 150 years and the results were the most prosperous nation on earth, the largest middle class ever, the lowest tax rates in history, and zero national debt. Now, after 80+ years of electing career politicians from the privileged elite, this dynamic has been destroyed and replaced with a bloated, self-perpetuating bureaucracy. How long will it take and what will it cost the people of the United States to recover from this aristocratic takeover? Naïvety or wisdom?

A quick note to President Barack H. Obama.

Mr. President,
As a fellow citizen, if called upon, I would give my life defending you, the Office you represent and our country.

However, I disagree with most everything you are doing to our country in the name of hope and change. I believe I could do a better job. Therefore, I am exercising my Constitutional right to run for the Office you currently hold.

God Bless the United States of America.
